We are delighted to announce that Dr. Lampe-Onnerud, Founder and CEO of Boston Power, will be the keynote speaker at the MIT $100K Executive Summary Contest. Boston Power designs and manufactures next-generation lithium-ion batteries that deliver on the promise of long life, mobility, safety and environmental sustainability.
Dr. Lampe-Onnerud is a well-known authority in the battery industry. She has pioneered the use of lithium-ion to deliver dependable power to everyday applications. Prior to founding Boston-Power, Dr. Lampe-Onnerud was one of the youngest partners at Arthur D. Little/TIAX, where she ran the company’s battery labs. Dr. Lampe-Onnerud has been awarded 15 patents, with 6 patents pending. Dr. Lampe-Onnerud frequently speaks about environmental sustainability to an international audience. She earned a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Calculus, from Uppsala University in Sweden.
